Kate - Day 52
Something tells me the puppies may arrive sooner than I thought. She was bred on July 1st making day 63 September 1st. She clearly ovulated before her breeding so I am expecting puppies to arrive as earlier as Tuesday - She will get X-rays that morning to see how many we are expecting...... The poll is pretty even between 7-8 or 9 + . Poor baby is ready to get those puppies out - she has to have help to get up the back steps now.

Poor thing, she looks like she swallowed a watermelon whole! There's either lots o' pups or some really BIG pups.
Well, we vote for a lot -- really big pups are so hard on the mom. She does look like a beached whale. We'll be thinking good thoughts at our house.
Oh dear, Kate. Your mother certainly is not trying for more flattering camera angles! Hang in there, it'll all be over soon, and on to another adventure in puppy-raising!
Poor baby! I hope that she does have those pups early. It's tough to be expecting in summer.
Bless her heart - she's enormous! And she has to be horribly uncomfortable. Here's to hoping she births those pups early!
