Home again

What a great time I had at the Nationals! It was great seeing old and new friends and meeting my fellow Cardi Bloggers. It was a whirlwind trip with Janet and I leaving late on Wednesday afternoon and arriving in Topeka around 4 am. We crashed for a few hours and then hit the show site. We headed home Saturday afternoon when Best of Breed was over and got as far as Paducah, KY, slept a few hours and headed home. I arrived at my house around 11 am to find utter chaos! My husband was sick the whole time I was gone and did Nothing, Nada, zilch....in the way of house cleaning. I was ready to cry....muddy dogs had run in and out of the house, jumped on unmade beds and furniture and nearly every towel in the house had been used. To make matters worse, Jeri arrived to pick up her sweet girl Lizzie (who we all hope is pregnant!) and visit our puppies shortly after I got home. Sorry for the mess Jeri, but the puppies enjoyed the snuggles! So....after 5 loads of laundry, fresh sheets on the beds and a few hours of scrubbing floors, etc.... I crawled into bed around 1 am. What is that saying ---- Men, can't live without them?!?!?!? hmmmmmm......

See y'all

Nationals Win

Congratulations to Janet and her girl Scout - CH Cardiridge Jean Louise Finch (handled by Cheryl Mika) for winning Best Red Bitch in the Megan Competition last night. Scout went on to take runner up to the Megan Winner (sorry I don't have the winners name). Way to go Scout and Cheryl.
Janet and I are heading to Topeka as soon as we can get off work - Can't wait to see everybody!

Now a word from our Sponsors

Hey everybody - My good friend, Cheryl Mika will be handling Janet's Scout at the nationals. She has also signed up for a booth and will be selling Polo Shirts, Sweatshirts and Aprons with the logo depicted above.. One minor change to the pattern is the words will be in English for "Cardigan welsh corgi" instead of Welsh. The available colors are Forest green and Royal blue. Prices are:
Polo Shirt - S, M, L, XL - $30, 2x - $32, 3x - $35
Sweatshirts - S, M, L, XL - $35, 2x - $37, 3x - $39
Aprons - $20
You can also order them (add $7.50 shipping and handling) by contacting Geri at Dogwoodbritts@aol.com.
These shirts are very nice! I already have mine ordered!
See Y'all there

Nationals Bound

Woo Hoo - Looks like I am going to get to the Nationals after all. I begged my boss to allow me to change my work schedule. She grudgingly agreed (but took a chunk out of my behind in the process) and now I am good to go. Our plan is to leave Wednesday, drive all night (yikes) and get to Topeka on Thursday in time to see the classes. We will stay through BOB and then Janet and I will hope back in her Element and head back to Tennessee. I am looking forward to see old and new friends but we won't be staying at the host hotel.

I hope to post new puppy pictures later today. They are all fat and happy and at that really cute stage!

See y'all

Bummer

Man I am so bummed, all this talk of going to the nationals and I can't go! I had high hopes that Janet and I were going to be able to slide into to Topeka early Thursday morning and stay through BOB, but work has other plans for me. I hate being a responsible adult! This will make 3 nationals I have missed. California was just to far, my pesky gallbladder just had to come out the week before the nationals last year and now this. I'm going next year come hell or high water!
