Sad News
This afternoon our little one (Jackie) started having seizures. We rushed her to the Vet and made an attempt to sway them. As the evening progressed, the seizures came more frequently and with more intensity. Our very caring Vet met Rick at his office around 9 pm and we let her go. Jackie was the puppy that had the head injury at 5 days old. She had shown so much improvement over the past weeks and appeared to be on her way to being a happy companion in the making. We don't know what triggered this downward spiral.

Oh how very sad! :( I'm so so sorry! :(
Oh no,Laura. I'm so sorry to hear this. I know that little Bounce/Jackie had the very best in her short life, and you did everything possible to help her. Sometimes it is just meant to be, and she is not suffering any longer. Sending hugs...
arroooo.
Oh, that is very sad. I am so sorry.
Oh Laura I am so sorry! This just breaks my heart.
So sorry to hear your news.
I am sorry about your little Jackie. Hugs to you all
We just aren't in charge of very much, are we? I know you did all that could be done. I'm so sorry you lost her.
I'm so sorry to hear about the wee one. Having been in the exact same position a few months ago, it's never easy, only having them for just a short time. But you did the best by her you could and letting her go leaves her without pain and suffering.
Hugs
Oh I'm so sorry Laura. :(
I'm so, so sorry. I've never bred a dog litter, but I've had this situation happen a couple times in my rattery career.
It's so hard to have them recover, and then crash weeks later, after they 'have personalities'. Of course it's never easy to loose babies, but I personally think it's easier on the heart when they're still in the bean stages.
My heart goes out to you, I'm so sorry :( I know how emotional, and hard this is. Damn fragile life.
Oh no,
I'm so sorry. It's especially hard to lose the ones you've put extra time and love into.
I am so very sorry-my heart is breaking for you. Virtual hug.
oh that is just awful. To almost lose her once, and then weeks later have to lose her for real. I can't imagine. I feel bad when I lose any animal on the farm, but babies are always harder on me.
Big hugs!
I am so sorry to read this. G-dspeed Jackie.
Aww, I'm so sorry.
I'm so sorry to hear about Jackie. :(
